Dermaplaning is a manual form of exfoliation that uses a small blade to gently scrape away dead skin cells from the epidermis, revealing brighter, healthier-looking skin beneath. Dermaplaning is also helpful to remove unwanted vellus hair on the face, such as 'peach fuzz' hair.

We start with a thorough cleanse of the face. The treatment is then performed by our trained aesthetician, who uses a sterile scalpel to gently stroke the skin, revealing a more uniform and brighter complexion. A jelly mask carefully chosen for your skin needs is applied for 15 minutes, followed by serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

There are no special requirements for Dermaplaning. You can apply makeup, exercise and bathe as usual after your treatment.
We always recommend using sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher should be used daily. If you are exposed to the sun for prolonged periods, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least every two hours.
Dermaplaning is extremely safe when performed by trained professionals. On rare occasions, slight nicks can occur in the skin, which is why we don't recommend this treatment for people with active acne.
Despite what many think, hair re-growth that is darker or thicker is not a risk of Dermaplaning. This is because the hair on the face that Dermaplaning targets is vellus hair, not terminal hair.
Results are immediate and evident after a single treatment. Your skin will be noticeably smoother and softer to the touch. For exfoliation purposes, the best results come from 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. For hair removal, repeat treatments will be required depending on the regrowth cycle of your hair.
You may experience a tingling or tightening sensation in the skin, similar to that of regular shaving, but no pain.
